Synopsis

The film follows New York lawyer Hugo as he travels to Milwaukee with his best friend Madelyn for the holidays to visit his brother Aiden and their mother Kate, who is also overseeing the town's Christmas celebrations. Kate, known for her matchmaking tendencies, sets up a chance encounter between Hugo and Patrick, a high school friend and former secret crush of Hugo's, who has recently returned to the area after a successful career in Silicon Valley. As they participate in the town's holiday events, the chemistry between Hugo and Patrick becomes evident, suggesting that Kate's efforts have led to a promising connection. However, Hugo's plans are complicated when he receives news of a major career opportunity requiring a move to London, forcing him to consider what truly matters in his life.
