The Club of Ugly Children
Synopsis
The new president enforces a strict policy of "keeping it clean," which extends to appearance standards. When Paul, whose prominent ears stand out in a class photo, and other children deemed "ugly" are abruptly taken on a secret trip, they realize the president's intent to conceal them. On the run, Paul is aided by Sara, one of the "pretty" students. Together, they form an underground club to resist the president's regime. The movement grows into a full-scale revolution, demonstrating that children can effect change and that heroism is not limited to those considered "pretty."
