The Collection
Synopsis
Set in Paris during the German Occupation of 1942, the story follows Victor Gence, a morally flexible merchant who exploits the circumstances to acquire artworks from Jewish collectors at significantly undervalued prices. Upon learning from a concierge that Mr. Klein possesses an impressive collection, Gence finds a way to gain access to Klein's apartment in pursuit of these valuable pieces.
