The Conjuring: First Communion
Synopsis
Warner Bros. and New Line have announced a new entry in the horror franchise, "The Conjuring: First Communion," which will serve as a prequel focusing on the early careers of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film casts Garrett Wareing and Amanda Fix as the younger versions of the couple, replacing Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga who portrayed the adult Warrens in previous installments. "The Conjuring: First Communion" is slated for release in 2027 and will explore the origins of the famous investigative duo before their most well‑known cases. Production details remain limited, but the casting announcement signals a continuation of the series' expansion into the characters' backstories.
