Synopsis
Burt Lancaster portrays a pirate with a penchant for intrigue and acrobatics who becomes entangled in the events of a revolution in the Caribbean during the late 1700s. The film is a lighthearted adventure featuring prison breaks, an eccentric scientist, sailing ships, naval battles, and an abundance of swordplay.
