The Dark Side of the Heart
Synopsis
Oliveiro, a young poet living in Buenos Aires, occasionally sells his ideas to an advertising agency or trades poems for steak to support himself. In Montevideo he meets a prostitute named Ana and falls in love with her. Upon returning to Buenos Aires, he accepts a contract with a publicity agency to obtain the money needed for three days of intimacy with Ana. The story follows whether he achieves his goal as his ideal of love’s pleasure becomes literal levitation during lovemaking.
