The Dawn Patrol
“They roared through the dawn... with death on their wings!”
Synopsis
In 1915 France, Major Brand leads the 39th Squadron of the Royal Flying Corps. The young pilots fly in heavily damaged aircraft, and the casualty rate is extremely high, though Brand struggles to convince the military leadership at headquarters of the dangers. Insolent flying ace Captain Courtney becomes another challenge for Brand—until Courtney himself is appointed to command the squadron. The men maintain a strict sense of composure and restraint.
