Synopsis
The Day the '60s Died documents events in May 1970, the month in which four students were shot and killed at Kent State University. The unrest that followed has been described as the most divisive moment in American history since the Civil War. The film explores this turbulent spring from multiple perspectives, including college campuses, the jungles of Cambodia, and the Nixon White House, revisiting the events of 45 years ago.
