The Distinguished Citizen
A Nobel Prize-winning writer returns to his Argentine hometown for a celebratory visit, only to face the chaos that ensues when the people he fictionalized in his novels confront the truths he invented.
Synopsis
After declining numerous prestigious awards worldwide, Mr. Mantovani, a Nobel Prize winner in Literature, accepts an invitation to visit his hometown in Argentina, a place that has inspired all of his books. However, this decision proves to be the worst of his life. Unforeseen consequences arise when real people are used as characters in one's novels.
