The E-Flat Man
Synopsis
Elmer tries to elope with his fiancée, but they escape her parents by driving off in a car that belongs to a wanted gangster. When they hear on the radio that the police are searching for them, they abandon the car and take refuge near a farmhouse. However, the farmer's radio also broadcasts their description, prompting them to run away and begin hitchhiking, only to be picked up by two police officers. They manage to escape into a railroad yard and board a train, which turns out to be refrigerated. Eventually, they decide to surrender—just as they discover that the real criminals have already been captured.
