Synopsis
A young Dutch soldier is deployed to the Netherlands' colony of Indonesia in the aftermath of World War II to suppress independence efforts. As he joins an elite squad under an increasingly ruthless commander, he becomes torn between his sense of duty and his growing moral conflict.
