The Eternal Mother
Synopsis
John and Mary each divorce their spouses in order to marry each other. Mary dies shortly after giving birth, and the child is taken in by John's first wife, Martha. Martha refuses to have any contact with John until many years later, when he becomes ill and she ultimately forgives him for abandoning her.
