Synopsis

In a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, an injured stuntman begins telling a fellow patient, a young girl with a broken arm, a story about five mythical heroes. As the tale progresses, the boundary between fiction and reality becomes increasingly blurred, influenced by the man's fractured mental state and the girl's vivid imagination.
