The Fifteen Streets
Synopsis
In northern England around 1900, John O'Brien lives in poverty with his family in a small house in a working-class district. He falls in love with Mary, the teacher of his highly intelligent younger sister, Kathy, and daughter of a wealthy family. Their relationship is hindered by the social divide between them, but Mary, determined and resolute, refuses to let external circumstances destroy their love.
