The First Men in the Moon
Synopsis
Mark Gatiss adapted this science fiction classic by H.G. Wells. Set in July 1969, as the world eagerly awaits the Apollo astronauts' moon landing, a young boy meets 90-year-old Julius Bedford. Bedford has an extraordinary story to tell about how, back in 1909, he was the first to reach the Moon and, alongside the eccentric Professor Cavor, uncovered a terrifying secret deep beneath its seemingly barren surface.
