The Flea in the Ear
Synopsis
Raymonde Chandebise suspects her husband, Victor-Emmanuel, of being unfaithful. She receives a package from the hotel "Le Minet Galant," which contains a pair of his suspenders. Her best friend, Lucienne, suggests she confirm her suspicions using a clever ruse. Together, they compose a fake, passionate letter from a mysterious woman and send it to Victor-Emmanuel, inviting him to meet at the "Minet Galant." Unbeknownst to them, the hotel's bellboy, a simpleton, bears a striking resemblance to Victor-Emmanuel.
