The Forgotten War: Hollywood's Vietnam in the Philippines

Produced and filmed in 2019, but finally released in 2023, for the German Blu-ray edition of the Oliver Stone/Tom Cruise classic "Born on the Fourth of July" - this documentary was largely shot in Manila and chronicles the history of Hollywood filmmakers doubling the country for Vietnam for their many war movies. Also highlighting academic and researcher into Vietnam War cinema, Dr. Neil Jackson from the University of Lincoln in England.
