The Fourth King
Synopsis
Alazar, a simple farmer and beekeeper, encounters the Three Wise Men—Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar—who are journeying to honor the birth of the Messiah. His bees are magically transformed into the tail of a bright comet that guides the group to the manger. Initially, Alazar is reluctant to accompany the Wise Men, as he was unwillingly compelled to leave his pregnant wife, Izirah, behind. Though the Three Wise Men emphasize the significance of the Messiah's arrival, the relationship among the four remains tense. Despite their disagreements, they gradually grow close and, after several adventures, successfully reach the manger. The Three Kings then permit Alazar to return home to his wife.
