Synopsis
Freddie Mercury, born in 1946 and best known as the lead vocalist of Queen, spent the final years of his life grappling with a private battle that ultimately led to his death in 1991 at the age of 46. During this period, Mercury lived a relatively secluded lifestyle, though he remained active in music and public appearances. He was diagnosed with AIDS, a disease that was still largely misunderstood at the time, and he passed away from complications related to it. His death marked the end of an era for rock music and left a lasting impact on the global music community.
