Synopsis

The film presents a series of two-dimensional images of plant life, each appearing briefly, sometimes as isolated elements and more frequently as combinations of stems, leaves, buds, or petals. Many images show only the silhouette of objects against a black background. The color palette is primarily black and green, occasionally punctuated by fragments of orange, white, or blue. While the objects within each frame remain static, they are swiftly replaced by new collages, creating a sense of rapid movement. Each composition is sharp, with distinct lines contrasting against the black and later white backgrounds. The visual style evokes comparisons to Whitman or Hieronymus Bosch. Despite the absence of a soundtrack, the quick succession of images and colors conveys a sense of chaotic energy.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 1

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
