Synopsis
Jos Stelling, an acknowledged master of the short film without dialogue, received numerous awards for *The Waiting Room* at film festivals in Holland, Russia, and Switzerland. If you found his richly inventive spoof of leering macho culture in *God's Little Acre*, which takes place in the crowded waiting room of a local railway station, to be one of the most outrageous *Erotic Tales* ever made, then prepare for a similarly wild ride through Life's Great Battlefield: the expressway during rush hour. The film captures the boredom of the slow lane, injects it with the spice of one-upmanship, and adds a delightful girl-boy rivalry, culminating in a layover at the next gas station.
