Synopsis
Varda turns her attention to gleaners—people who search through fields after harvests for leftover potatoes or turnips. Her exploration takes her from remote areas of the French countryside to the quiet hours of Parisian green markets, following those who seek value in what society has discarded, whether driven by need or by principle.
