Synopsis
Australia's Great Barrier Reef, one of the world's most extraordinary natural ecosystems, stretches 1,200 miles and is composed of coral. It is the largest structure on Earth built by living organisms, with some areas extending 120 miles into the sea. The reef supports a vast diversity of life, with more than a dozen species found within any square meter of its surface. This IMAX film showcases the reef's visual splendor through detailed underwater photography typical of the format. The film features sharks, sea turtles, anemones, and coral as its primary subjects. The documentary offers a comprehensive view of this well-researched ecosystem, highlighting its complexity and natural beauty.
