The Great McGinty
“It's Two-Fisted FUN! A fightin' fool gives you laughter of a lifetime..!”
Synopsis
Set during the Great Depression and told through a series of flashbacks, *The Man I Love* follows Dan McGinty, a down-and-out drifter who is recruited by a powerful city political machine to assist in vote fraud operations. His natural talent for the work leads to swift advancement under "the boss," who eventually deems him the perfect candidate for a so-called "reform" mayor. However, the political strategy requires Dan to be married, prompting him to enter into a nominal marriage with the principled Catherine. What begins as a convenient arrangement ultimately becomes the catalyst for Dan's downfall as his dishonesty collides with Catherine's integrity.

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 15
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
