The Great Rudolph
Synopsis
Rudolph Moshammer, a prominent fashion designer in Munich, finds that his status is no longer sufficient to satisfy his silent partners and financiers. As a result, he begins seeking a seductive woman to help him sell his vision. To the dismay of his mother, he enlists Evi, a young pedicurist from Augsburg. With Evi's assistance, Moshammer succeeds in winning the favor and financial support of the wealthy elite. However, his mother's behind-the-scenes schemes complicate their efforts. The fictional story explores themes of beauty and wealth, as well as the bond between two outsiders in Munich in 1983.
