Synopsis

Susan and Mark relocate to a seaside town with the goal of purchasing an old house and converting it into an inn. While they had come to inspect one property, Susan feels an inexplicable pull toward another. This house is situated high on a cliff, overlooking a desolate beach. Unsettling occurrences begin to unfold. A menacing black dog makes appearances. One unusual guest checks in at the inn. Susan discovers a collection of letters in the attic, written long ago by a wife who had been deeply frightened by something.
