Synopsis
Paloma is an 11-year-old girl who is intelligent, articulate, and deeply uninterested in the world around her. She has resolved to commit suicide on her 12th birthday. With a strong interest in art and philosophy, she reflects on and records her life and the people in it, offering sharp and often humorous insights. As her planned end draws near, she begins to connect with two unexpected figures in her life: the building's grumpy janitor and a mysterious, refined neighbor. Their interactions lead her to reconsider her bleak view of life.
