Synopsis
During a rainy night in the New Mexico desert, college students Jim Halsey and his girlfriend Grace Andrews pick up a hitchhiker while driving. The stranger, who turns out to be a psychopath, threatens the couple with a knife while in the car, but Jim manages to throw him out. This incident triggers a series of events that will permanently alter the course of their lives.
