Synopsis
Set in 1960s Extremadura, the narrative follows Paco el Bajo and his family as they labor on a farmhouse during daylight hours, enduring subjugation by their masters who exploit them and treat them almost like animals. Concurrently, Paco harbors the hope that his children will one day have the opportunity to receive an education.
