Synopsis
Over the past 40 years, the War on Drugs has resulted in 45 million arrests, contributed to the United States becoming the world's largest jailer, and had a detrimental impact on impoverished communities both domestically and internationally. Despite these efforts, drugs remain cheaper, purer, and more accessible today than at any previous time. The question remains: what factors have led to these outcomes?
