The House Next Door

Walker Kennedy and his wife Col are a content, voluntarily childless suburban couple. Their peaceful life is disrupted when a portion of their green surroundings is converted into a building site. The site becomes the location of the first house designed by Kim, an attractive, brilliant, and obsessively devoted architect, who later has a brief affair with Col. Kim is deeply enamored with his creation, just as others are. However, each subsequent couple that moves into the house quickly becomes hostile, never staying long, and often ends in tears or bloodshed. When Kim eventually purchases the house with his wife, Col, believing that Kim somehow curses all his buildings, decides it is time to take permanent action against him.
