Synopsis

Starring newcomers Alex Frow, Glen Sherrington and Josephine James, THE INVENTURERS is a 92-minute British comedy drama feature film about two young video game obsessed teenage boys. Jim, who's struggling with his parents divorce and his best friend Matt. A power cut stops them playing their video games so they have to rely on their own imaginations for entertainment. Inventing their own adventures they embark on a journey of discovery aboard their homemade go-cart as Jim hatches a plan to stop his parents divorcing. However a newcomer to the road, Jack challenges the boy's friendship but together they inadvertently find themselves on a mission to save Christmas - in July. The film was rated by the BBFC, PG for infrequent mild language.
