The Jaguar
Synopsis
A shaman from the South American rainforest travels to France for a public‑relations campaign. In a hotel elevator in Paris he encounters a French man named Perrin, whom he finds fascinating. The shaman follows Perrin to his flat; although Perrin is reluctant about the attention, he allows the shaman to stay overnight. After an official meeting the following day as part of the PR campaign, the shaman suffers a heart attack. While barely able to speak and confined to a hospital bed, he asks to see Perrin, who shows little interest in meeting him again. Nevertheless, the two appear to be mentally linked after their encounter in the elevator.
