Synopsis
Deputy Sheriff Lou Ford is regarded as a respected and seemingly considerate figure in his small west Texas town, known for his patience and outward thoughtfulness. While some residents find him slow or unexciting, no more negative opinions are generally expressed about him. However, Lou harbors a secret he refers to as his "sickness"—a condition that reveals him to be a brilliant yet disturbed sociopathic sadist.
