Synopsis
Set in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, the film follows an ostracized lioness and her two cubs as they struggle to survive amid various hazards. Their sole recourse is to reach Duba Island, after which their future remains uncertain. The narrative highlights the delta as one of the remaining habitats where lions exist in the wild, noting that shrinking territory and heightened hunting pressure are bringing lions, including the featured family, close to extinction.
