Synopsis
Created by the Academy Award-nominated team behind the Broadway show *STOMP* and the award-winning film *Wild Ocean*, *The Last Reef* is a large-format and 3D cinema experience that presents an uplifting and inspirational look at one of nature’s most vibrant and diverse ecosystems. The film highlights exotic coral reefs and vivid sea walls in the subarctic, teeming with anemones and crustaceans, emphasizing their role as biodiversity hotspots as crucial to life as rainforests. Filmed in Palau, Vancouver Island, French Polynesia, Mexico, and the Bahamas using innovative 3D cinematography, *The Last Reef* offers a global journey that explores the connection between urban life on land and the complex, parallel world of coral reefs beneath the ocean.
