The Last U-Boat
Synopsis
Near the end of World War II, a lone U-Boat is dispatched from Germany to Japan, carrying plutonium intended for a Japanese atomic bomb. As the long journey unfolds, news reaches the crew via radio that Hitler has committed suicide and Germany has surrendered. This revelation creates a division among the crew, with members of the Nazi Party insisting on continuing to Japan since they remain at war, while others prefer to surrender or return home.
