The Legend of Hercules
A humble warrior discovers he is the demigod Hercules, destined to topple a ruthless king and free his kingdom, while battling his own heart’s desire for a princess promised to his brother; he must choose between love and legend as war erupts around him.
“Every man has a destiny.”
Synopsis
In Ancient Greece around 1200 B.C., a queen falls under the influence of Zeus and gives birth to a son destined to overthrow the tyrannical king and bring peace to a suffering land. This prince, Hercules, is unaware of his true identity and his fate. His only desire is to win the love of Hebe, the Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules discovers his greater purpose, he must make a choice: flee with his true love or embrace his destiny and become the hero of his time. The myth behind one of the greatest legends is told in this action-packed epic, a story of love, sacrifice, and the strength of the human spirit.

Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

Why 2.5×?
Cinemas keep roughly half of every ticket sold, and a wide release’s marketing often costs about as much again as the film — so a movie needs to gross around 2.5× its production budget just to break even theatrically. It’s a rule of thumb, not the studio’s ledger (home video and streaming come later).
