The Lion Roars
Synopsis
During the Soong Dynasty, Liu, a beautiful woman, struggles to find a husband until she encounters the avant-garde poetry of Chen. The two soon marry, but Chen soon discovers that his new bride is volatile, temperamental, and consumed by jealousy, restricting his daily life and activities. When a princess becomes infatuated with Chen and the Emperor commands that he take her as a second wife, the marriage between Liu and Chen is challenged.
