The Little Bather
Synopsis
Louis-Philippe Fourchaume, a typical lead role for French comedy superstar Louis de Funès, is a dictatorial CEO of a French company that designs and produces sail yachts. In a fit of rage, he fires his designer, André Castagnier, unaware that Castagnier is the only person who can secure a crucial contract with Italian magnate Marcello Cacciaperotti. Determined to win him back, Fourchaume embarks on a difficult journey to Castagnier's remote hometown in "la France profonde," an experience that proves to be a torment for the spoiled businessman. Upon arrival, he finds that the country man refuses to return to his subservient role now that their positions have reversed. As a result, Fourchaume is thrust into the boorish family life of Castagnier, and his frequent outbursts threaten to undo the progress he slowly makes in regaining the designer's trust.

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 19
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
