The Lobster Kid
Synopsis
A 13-year-old girl works for a gang as a street vendor. She dreams of moving to a place in the south in pursuit of a better life. One day, when she attempts to secretly board a train, her boss notices and takes away her train ticket. Feeling like there is no way out, she meets a street monk who begs for money on the street while keeping a vow of silence. Intrigued by his silent kindness and driven by her duty as a street vendor, she joins the monk as he travels door to door. Their partnership proves to be mutually beneficial. However, the fun journey with the monk takes an unexpected turn.
