The Lodgers
Synopsis
In 1920s rural Ireland, Anglo-Irish twins Rachel and Edward live in isolation within their decaying family estate. Each night, a malevolent force known as The Lodgers takes control of the house and imposes three strict rules: the twins must be in bed by midnight, no outsiders may enter the property, and if one attempts to flee, the other’s life is endangered. When war veteran Sean returns to the village, he becomes intrigued by Rachel, whose growing attraction to him leads her to defy The Lodgers' rules. As she does, the consequences escalate, drawing Rachel into a dangerous conflict with her brother and the curse that binds them.
