Synopsis
In the 1920s in Saigon, a poor French teenage girl becomes involved in an illicit affair with a wealthy Chinese heir. For the first time in her young life, she gains a sense of control, which she skillfully exerts over her infatuated lover through a series of secret meetings and passionate encounters.
