Synopsis
This is the true story of a British operation designed to deceive the Germans into reducing their defenses in Sicily prior to the Allied invasion in 1943. A deceased soldier was dressed as a British officer and provided with fabricated documents suggesting the Allies planned to invade occupied Greece. The body was placed in the sea with the intention that it would wash ashore and the documents would be recovered by German Intelligence.
