The Marriage Escape
Synopsis
Jan and Gedda have been married for 35 years. Gedda's deep affection for Jan manifests in overprotectiveness, such as anticipating his needs before he can express them. She chooses his clothes, his social circle, his vacation plans, and manages all their shared activities. Seeking some independence, Jan devises an unusual scheme that metaphorically turns their marriage into a confined space. Their daughter faces a comparable situation with her demanding and possessive boyfriend.
