Synopsis
In 2018, a user named AnathematicAnarchist posted a suicide note on an online forum catering to incels, a subculture of heterosexual men characterized by self-pity, misogyny, and violent fantasies that have a significant online presence and occasionally lead to real-world actions. The post raises questions about whether he actually committed suicide and whether America, as he claims in his text, bears responsibility for his death. The piece explores the digital landscape's darkest corners, offering an essay on pain and isolation in the era of algorithms.
