The Meddler
A recently widowed mother moves to Los Angeles hoping to reconnect with her successful screenwriter daughter, but when her well‑meaning meddling strains their bond, she must reinvent herself by helping strangers and discovering a new purpose before both relationships crumble.
Synopsis
Marnie Minervini has moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles with a new iPhone, an apartment near the Grove, and a comfortable bank account left to her by her late husband. She hopes to be closer to her daughter, Lori, a successful but single screenwriter. Marnie's constant texting, unexpected visits, and unsolicited advice push Lori to set firm personal boundaries. In response, Marnie redirects her optimism and generosity toward helping others, seeking a new purpose in life.
