Synopsis
The protagonist, a janitor portrayed by Chaplin, loses his job after accidentally spilling a bucket of water out a window onto his boss, the chief banker (Tandy). At the same time, one of the junior managers (Dillon) faces threats from his bookie due to unpaid gambling debts, prompting him to decide to steal from the company.
