Synopsis
John Brennan's life appears stable until his wife, Lara, is arrested for a murder she claims she did not commit. Three years into her sentence, John struggles to maintain their family, raising their son and teaching at a college while seeking every possible way to prove her innocence. After their final appeal is denied, Lara becomes suicidal, prompting John to consider what he sees as the only viable and bearable solution: breaking his wife out of prison.
