Synopsis
The Parade presents a tragicomic portrayal of the ongoing conflict between two opposing forces in contemporary post-war Serbian society: the traditional, oppressive, and homophobic majority, and a liberal, modern, and open-minded minority. The film addresses gay rights issues in Serbia and includes footage from the 2010 Belgrade gay pride parade. It follows a group of gay activists as they attempt to organize a pride parade in Belgrade.
